My name is Melanie, and I am the Owner/CEO of SweetDivergents.

I am a Neurodivergent home mom raising 6 Neurodivergent children.

My life is interesting to say the least!

I am a strong Advocate for neurodiversity of all kinds.

In my life I deal with Autism, ADHD, OCD, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia, Sensory Processing Disorder, PDA, and more on a regular basis.

So I am passionate about:

Autism Awareness, Autism Acceptance , ADHD Awareness , Neurodiversity Awareness, Neurodiversity Acceptance, and Equality For ALL.

Here I share some of my experiences with self-acceptance, raising neurodivergent kids in todays world, and general struggles we have with fitting into society’s expectations.

Through my Etsy Shop, I create and sell products that lend themselves to celebrating and accepting neurodiversity, and supporting those in the community and the people who love them.

Through my kids, I have come to understand the unique challenges that come with raising neurodivergent children.

That’s why I’ve dedicated myself to sharing my journey, offering support and encouragement to other neurodivergent parents, and spreading awareness for neurodiversity.

My children are my biggest source of inspiration. They constantly amaze me with their talents, passions, and abilities.

They have taught me so much about the world and about myself. I am so grateful for each and every one of them.

Through my kids, I have come to understand the unique challenges that come with raising neurodivergent children.

That’s why I am dedicating this page to sharing our journey. I also hope to share in the support and encouragement of neurodivergent parents and families, while spreading awareness about neurodiversity.

Join me on this journey, as we navigate the ups and downs of neurodivergent parenting together.

If you are a neurodivergent parent yourself, a friend, or simply someone who is interested in learning more about the problems we face, I hope that this blog will be a source of inspiration, encouragement, and support.
